Your Football Training Program will include: 

-Stance, start, and takeoff mechanics

-Combine-Specific Drills and Tests for NFL/CFL Prospects, High School, and College Players: Laser-Timed 10, 20, 30, and 40 yard Pre-tests 

-Extensive 3 Cone Drill Work For NFL/CFL Prospects and college and high school players: Each element of the 3 Cone Drill will be broken down and perfected before we continue to the next step so the 3 cone drill is natural on NFL Combine or your high school or college Evaluation Day.

-Dynamic Flexibility

-Energy System Development: 1) Phosphagen System: Intense exercise lasting up to 15 seconds. 

2) Anaerobic system development using measurable speed endurance training.

-Explosive Power through bounding, jumping, box jumps, & Prowler Sleds.

-Form running and mechanics

-Lateral speed & Agility movements specific to your position and goals

-The use of sleds and bands to increase stride length and rate as well as emphasize "ground force contact" development


                     TRAINING PROGRAMS

Your Baseball Training Program will include: 

-Stance, start, and take-off mechanics using a short, quick, drop-step technique 

-Absolute Speed

-Acceleration

-Reaction time training of linear and lateral movements designed to train for the reactive and unpredictable nature of baseball

-Combine Specific Drills and Tests for youth, high school, and college baseball Prospects: Laser-Timed 10, 20, 30, and 60 yard Pre-tests 

-Base running and maximizing time and distance rounding bases

-Dynamic Flexibility

-Energy System Development: 1) Phosphagen System: Intense exercise lasting up to 15 seconds

2) Anaerobic system development using measurable speed endurance training

-Explosive Power through bounding, jumping, box jumps, & Sleds

-Form running and mechanics

-Lateral speed & Agility movements specific to your position and goals

-The use of sleds and bands to increase stride length and rate as well as emphasize "ground force contact" development




Your Soccer Training Program will include: 

-Stance, start, and take-off mechanics 

-Absolute Speed

-Acceleration

-Soccer evaluation drills for skill related fitness and Tests for youth, high school, and college soccer players. Laser-Timed 10, 20, and 30 yard Pre-tests 

-Various Speed Endurance running tests to measure Anaerobic Capacity

-Dynamic Flexibility

-Energy System Development: 1) Phosphagen System: Intense exercise lasting up to 15 seconds. 

2) Anaerobic system development using measurable speed endurance training.

-Explosive Power through bounding, jumping, box jumps, & Prowler Sleds.

-Form running and mechanics

  TRAINING FORMATS

#1. NFL Pro Day and/or 1 on 1 private training: 1 on 1 and NFL Pro Day Training is $30 per session. These sessions have been used most by football and baseball athletes.​

#2. Small Group High School/College Speed Training: This group trains on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 6:30 PM and is $25 per session. These sessions are for the very serious high school and college athlete and the athletes will also do position specific training folliwing the speed work at each session.

#3. Multiple Sport Group Sessions for youth through middle school athletes: $15.  These group sessions train on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights at 6:15 PM. Each athlete is instructed thoroughly and each session stays specific to each athlete's sport.

#4. Team training of 10 or more athletes together: $10 per athlete. The dates and times for team training are scheduled by Coach D and the team staff. Since 2012, Coach D has trained travel baseball teams, youth soccer teams,  youth football teams, youth basketball teams, and travel softball teams.
                                  Speed 2 Compete Training Programs
As the sole owner of Speed 2 Compete Performance training I provide each athlete with sport-specific performance training. I work to continuously develop and refine current training techniques, that improve the athletes overall speed, explosiveness, agility, power, strength, and athleticism. The techniques I use are science based and focus on Dynamic Flexibility, Absolute Speed Mechanics, stride rate and stride length, speed strength, speed endurance, power, explosiveness, and improved ground contact force. Speed 2 Compete athletes compete in a variety of sports and are a variety of age ranges and skill levels so I design and implement training programs to meet the needs of each athlete. The Speed 2 Compete program incorporates performance training with sport-specific training. Performance training is designed make the athlete faster, powerful, agile, and explosive. Sport-specific training is designed to prepare the athlete for the intricacies of the specific sport he/she competes in. At Speed 2 Compete Performance Training I provide training for every sport and skill level.

                                      COMBINE AND PRO DAY TRAINING
Speed 2 compete combine training is for middle school through college football players who need specific training for local, regional, national, or NFL combines. The Speed 2 Compete Combine Training Program will focus on performance of the combine drills by improving flexibility, absolute speed mechanics, speed, power, speed-strength, and explosiveness. Training sessions are designed to teach the proper movements specific to football combine events to increase the opportunity for success at the NFL Scouting Combine, college pre-season evaluations, or high school combines.
